Short Essay on Mahashivaratri Festival
Lord Shiva is worshiped on the occasion of Mahashivaratri. From this morning, queues are started in Shiva Mandir. People are anointed with Lord Shiva by water and milk. On the day of Mahashivaratri, devotees meditate Lord Shiva by fasting and offer water, milk, and flowers etc. Shiva’s procession is taken out in the evening and all devotees shout with love and joy with joy and glee.
