India is a land of villages and fields laden with crops. Our fields are fed by great rivers like the Ganges, Yamuna, Brahmaputra, Godavari, Narmada, Kaveri, etc. The Gangetic valley is the most fertile region of India. The great Himalayas to the north and the oceans of the east, west, and south have given my country a natural frontier from all sides.
My beloved country is now considered one of the five big powers in the world. Her huge manpower, her tremendous progress in the fields of science and technology, her industries, her agricultural wealth, her strong defence and her peaceful attitude towards other world powers have given my country a prominent position in the modern world.
