Jai Hemant is a real name, “Tiger.” Shroff’s father is Jackie Shroff, and his mother’s name is Ayesha Shroff. Tiger Shroff was born on March 2, 1990. He is an Indian actor, martial artist, dancer, and singer. He is best known for his work in the Baaghi action franchise, Heropanti, and War. In 2014, he was awarded an honorary fifth degree black belt in Taekwondo.
Due to his experience in martial arts, he has frequently spent time helping other actors train for films, including Hrithik Roshan for Agneepath (2012) and Sonakshi Sinha for Dabangg 2 (2012). He started his film career with Heropanti (2014), a coming-of-age action drama directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Kishore Lulla Films.
In 2015, Tiger Shroff’s album “Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main” was released, and that album was a big hit. In 2016, he reteamed with Nadiadwala and Sabbir in Baaghi, set against the backdrop of a martial arts school, also featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Sudheer Babu. In 2017, he teamed up with Sabbir for the third time in the dance film Munna Michael, opposite Nidhhi Agerwal.
Both films were unsuccessful at the box office. In 2018, he established himself as one of the top-grossing actors in Bollywood. He played a rebellious army officer set on a mission to find his ex-girlfriend’s missing daughter. In October 2019, Shroff starred in Siddharth Anand’s action thriller War alongside Hrithik Roshan.
The film did decently well, having a gross worldwide collection of 982 million. In March 2020, he starred in Baaghi 3, where he was reunited with Shraddha Kapoor. The collections of both films were affected as theatres were shut due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the film managed to become the second highest grosser of 2020.
